Italy 1943 SEOW Squad Stats by II./JG77_Kemp
It is almost a tradition in II./JG77 that Kemp takes care of statistical side of the campaign. Anyway, here is what he came up with for this campaign.

Also, here is his little description of the chart. Please note that it is written FOR II./JG77 and on our forums so it obviously only talks about II/JG77 (+I/JG7_Leo).
I hope you enjoy the "mathematical" side of the war.
Blue lost the campaign by a big margin, but our squad (reinforced with I/JG7) showed good results.
We were the main force on Axis side, flying the biggest amount of sorties, second only to LLv of Allied side.
We were the most effective fighter squadron, shooting down more planes than the entire Allied side combined and had by far the highest air kill / loss rate as well as air kill / sortie rate.
We also had the highest survival rate among all the squads in this campaign.
We were also responsible for destroying the most ground units from Axis side, some while being transported by air transports. That actually shows partly why we were beaten so badly on the ground, as our side was totally lacking the air-to-ground capability compared to what the Allies achieved in that area.Last edited by =VARP=Vjeran; 31-03-2016 at 17:03.
"I would attack only if I had 2000 meters clearance above them, then I would come down with great speed and shoot them down."
