    Players below the red line are considered "back-up" players. This means that they can only fly to replace an absent player from the same group, so be sure to fill in the "black" spots !

    ITAF_Airone1989: According to the leader rank, you will be able to fly one plane or the other. Italics planes are the starting aircraft
    By preserving the pilot and destroying the enemy targets / planes you can get the next plane. Check "3-mission-subscribe" to have further information.


    3-mission-subscribe
    According to your role, fill in the file:

    Fighters have to choose between:
    C.A.P. Fighters (they will have to protect their own targets)
    Escort Fighters (they will have to protect their bombers&attackers)

    Each squadron will fly with the same plane, according to the leader rank:
    - below the Captain -> basic plane (Bf 109 F-4, LaGG-3 ser.29, H111 H-6...)
    - Captain or higher -> better plane (Bf 109 G-2, La 5 ser.8, Ju 88 A-4...)

    Fighters and Jabo squadron are made by 2 pilots, Attackers squadron by four and Bomber squadron by three.

    Doesn't really matter if the Leader in the file will be also the Leader in the game, it's just to assign the plane.
    BUT: Remember that the Leader score will also affect the wingman's score and vice versa, so be sure to fly with someone you trust!

    A reminder of the One life rule
    Every night will be "One life" mission.
    This mean that if you died, get captured or even bail out/ditch over friendly territory you will not able to fly again for that night. Instead, if you manage to land you can do another sortie.
    **NOTE**: *If you die or destroy the aircraft during taxi, takeoff or the first few minutes of flight for a technical problem, you are allowed to take off again.*

    To repair, rearm and refuel you will have 3 airfield close to the frontline.
    If you land at your home airfield you cannot RRR, just exit and take a new aircraft.

    **NOTE**:*You can finish your mission at "Central Repair (land here)" airfield, but if you do that at North or South Repair you will be reported as ditched -> if damaged you will give a kill to your enemy.*

    Important:
    Since now to mission 1 our server will remain up with a "blank" mission in which you can test if the kick system is working correctly, to avoid any problem.

    SERVER NAME: Tuttovola org - One life campaign - kick test
    1) Check that you name is in the "Player List" below
    2) Join the server and select your faction
    3) Select your aircraft
    4) Spawn and take off
    If after a minute you see no message in chat and you are not kicked from the server, everything is fine and you can exit (there is really nothing to do in that map)

    TARGETS
    In O.L.C. you will have a lot of possible targets: some really close to the front-line, perfect for a "hit&run", some other deep in the enemy territory.
    But, as you can see from the map, you won't know their location at the beginning of the campaign.
    How to find them?
    - Option 1: Go to the area and hope to be lucky enough to find them before enemy fighters find you
    - Option 2: Send some plane to recon the area (Check: 5-special-missions)

    At the same time you will know the exact location of what you have to protect, but you will not know which one the enemy will attack.
    So you have to guess their path using some "scouts" and then try to intercept the enemies before they do their job.

    There are a total of 54 targets per faction, divided into 4 sectors:
    Depot -> Reserve -> Artillery -> Front line || Front line <- Artillery <- Reserve <- Depot

    Note
    Only the target inside the blue or red circle are valid targets.
    If you bomb some other object in the map, it will not count.

    ITAF_Airone1989: This is an example of a mission seen from the blue player perspective:
    He knows that he has to defend blue artillery positions, but doesn't know which one will be attacked.
    At the same time he knows the area where red targets are, but has no information about the exact position (unless you already did a recon in that area)

    REARM AND REFUEL:
    Each faction will have 3 airports where it will be possible to repair, rearm and refuel -> Close to the Tower area

    NOTE:
    At the moment, if you finish the mission at that airport, you will be reported as ditched and, in case of damage, your opponent will be awarded a kill.
    I'm trying to fix this, I'm not sure we'll have a proper solution in time.
    In any case, landing at your home airport will avoid any problems.

    GROUND BATTLES:
    Ground battles will be a staple of this campaign.
    Unfortunately, given their complexity, at the moment I reserve the right to provide little information on this because it is likely that I will be forced to make small changes during this first edition.
    In any case, the idea is to create a calculation system that is influenced by the results obtained by the players, while providing a small margin of "randomness".

    In short:
    Each group of objects on the ground has two values:
    COM -> Combat: how many tanks, cannons, etc. etc. are able to face the enemy
    REF -> Refueling: how much food, ammunition, fuel etc. etc. troops in that sector have.

    Any object destroyed by a player during the mission will decrease these values.

    Between missions it will be possible for a column of tanks to launch an attack on enemy positions.
    In the next version they will be managed by a player of the two factions, at the moment I will be in charge of both the reds and the blues to make sure that everything is working correctly.

    The greater the difference in the COM value between attackers and defenders, the greater the likelihood that the larger troops will win.

    Note:
    - When the COM value is equal (i.e. 92% attackers and 92% defenders) the odds of winning will be slightly in favor of the defense (55% vs 45
    - If either COM or RIF value falls below 40%, the troops will automatically be forced to retreat
    - During the mission, in the sector attacked by the bombers, any columns of tanks present will also be activated. If bombed, their COM or REF values will be reduced.
    - At the end of the mission, if two units are fighting, the damage inflicted by the players will be added to the additional damage inflicted by the enemy unit with which they are in combat.

    CAPTURE:
    Bailing out or ditching behind enemy lines is always a risky business

    A pilot who is forced to touch the ground in enemy territory has some chance of being able to escape.
    Should he make it his career he will continue without problems, otherwise he will be captured and interrogated by the enemy police.
    The lower the rank of him, the higher the likelihood that he will speak, BUT the less important the information given to the enemy will be.
    On the other hand information obtained from a General will be extremely useful, BUT it will be difficult to force him to speak.

    PILOT LIFE:

    Once the mission is over, you can check your stats from your excel file.
    Score it's important to get an higher rank. Points needed to become Captain and move on to the next plane: 350 pts

    You will start the Campaign with a 150 pts bonus. The first time you will die/get captured, you will lost your bonus.
    For each mission you will fly you will receive 20 pts.
    Air kill: + 4 pts
    Your wingman air kill: + 2 pts
    Assist: + 2 pts
    Ground kill: + 6 pts
    Your wingman ground kill: + 1 pts
    Recon: + 5 pts
    Your wingman recon: + 3 pts
    Transport (not in this edition): + 150 pts
    Landed: + 3 pts
    Landed with (all) your wingman: + 27 pts for fighters&jabo/ +81 pts for attacker&bombers
    In flight: +2 pts
    Ditched: + 3 pts (due to a bug, working to low this value)
    Bailed out: - 15 pts
    Captured or Dead: your score will be reset to 0 pts
    Absent -> (a player who confirmed his presence for that mission and then didn't show up without communicate it) - 150 pts
